Tonight I finished reading »Quelque Part En France«. After having had the pleasure to meet John G Morris last fall at Paris, I consider this book as one of the most impressing I’ve read for a while. First for its intense narrative, which is a emotionally intense collection of very personal moments and perceptions. For its deeply compelling humanistic view on history and WW II – and the touching individual perspectives, notably the reprints of John G Morris‘ letters to his wife.
